The Database Clerk- Sales is responsible for maintaining the company’s twenty pound and one hundred pound L.P.G. customers into the database system.
Ensure all new 100lb Residential customers’ information are updated on Sage 50: if the customer is not found; a new account is created for that customer. The appropriate General Ledger (GL) account is selected (100lb).

Invoicing of 100lb Sales on Sage 50: The customer’s name is searched on the system, when the account is found the details of the sale are entered unto the system as follows:
The payment method and the General Ledger (GL) Cash Account are selected. The transaction is saved; the invoices are stamped and passed to the accounts department.
Invoicing of Bulk Sales for North, Central, and South on Excel Spreadsheet daily: Customer Names are located on excel sheet and gallon amount is entered for both Charge and Cash Customer.
Invoicing of 20lb Sales Area 1-5 on Excel Spreadsheet: Customer Names are located on the excel sheet and Cylinder quantity is entered.
Responsible for ensuring all documents that are used by you are kept safely and its’ confidentiality is maintained.
Follow up with the Sales Operations Manager or Divisional Manager- Sales & Marketing to ensure the immediate resolution of concerns.
Run sales reports as and when required.
Works with the Senior Team Leader to establish routes serviced by House to House drivers.
