Job description:

Sales Support

  • Processing of customer requests; reporting and resolving customer's queries
  • Processing new sales leads by preparing quotations and invoices for customers 
  • Writing proposals for customers and preparing responses to RFP & tenders
  • Reviewing  proposals and customer solutions with solutions design team
  • Preparing picking tickets for customer orders and coordinating with Warehouse to execute delivery to customers
  • Monitoring the transaction progress and notifying the salesperson/Sales Manager of any issues
  • Assisting with the collection of receivables and issues related to payments, by advising customers of the account status,  and liaising with Finance to coordinate the collection of payment
  • Collating information and preparing sales reports
  • Compiling information for purchase requisitions
  • Perform technical product configurations
  • Maintaining records and filing of all relevant documentation
  • Performing other related duties as may be assigned by Management.

Qualifications/ Experience

  • Associate Degree in Business Administration or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum of five (5) CXC subjects, must have Mathematics and English
  • A minimum of two (2) years’ work experience in a similar role
  • Qualifications in Customer Service or Sales will be an asset

Required Skills

  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent customer service skills and understanding of telephone etiquette
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Strong verbal and writing skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with an IT sales environment and the related concepts
  • Experience in Dynamics Great Plains will be an asset
