Job description:

Human Resource Coordinator

Job Summary
Delivery of a suite of human resource and administrative support services for the HR Department to ensure the efficient provision of human resource products and services to all clients

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
(1) Provide support in all aspects of the recruitment, selection and exit processes
(2) Maintain an accurate and current database of employee records at all times
(3) Establish and maintain official documents and records in appropriate files to ensure organization of materials
(4) Assist with all activities relating to staff training and development
(5) Prepare various reports, correspondence reports and drafts as needed
(6) Assist with research and any other special projects undertaken by the Department
(7) Assist in generating Job Descriptions
(8) Prepare letters, reports and other documents daily
(9) Administer Health, Pension and other benefit plans
(10) Process Employee National Insurance Claims as required
(11) Act as point of contact for routine employee requests and queries
(12) Provide all administrative, professional and logistical support to facilitate delivery of HR generalist services to the line management
(13) Monitor daily attendance trends of all staff throughout the Company
(14) Assist with the planning and co-ordination of staff events as required
(15) Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate health, safety, security and environmental policies/ procedures
(16) Perform any other duties as required by the job function.

Qualification
(1) B.Sc. in Social Sciences or equivalent from a recognized University

Experience
(1)  At least one year’s relevant work experience
Or any equivalent combination of qualification and experience.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Attributes
(1) Excellent oral and written communication skills
(2) Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
(3) Good Planning and organizational skills
(4) Ability to be flexible
(5) Knowledge of labor laws in Trinidad and Tobago will be an asset
(6) Must demonstrate sound work ethics
(7) Must maintain standards of conduct at all times
(8) Displays a willingness to learn
