We are currently seeking to hire a contract HR Generalist for a period of six months beginning October 1st.

Job Summary:

The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for providing operational, technical support and assistance to the Human Resource Manager in the various human resource functions for iQor Trinidad Limited.


Responsibilities include:

  • Co-ordinates new employee on-boarding by facilitating the execution of all induction and orientation.
  • Facilitate the timely resolution and closure on all reported employee relations matters and/or issues and provides counseling when necessary.
  • Assists with the development and implementation of Human Resource Management systems, policies and procedures and ensures that the Company’s HR policies, procedures and terms of employment are current and relevant.
  • Provides guidance and training on the application of the Company’s policies, procedures and proper Industrial Relations practices.
  • Assist with conducting enquiries and when necessary investigations for grievances and issues such as negligence, misconduct etc.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information and accuracy of data.
  • Assist with the co-ordination of employee events and reward and recognition programme.
  • Assist with payroll as required.
  • Assist with recruitment as required.
  • Processing and Handling Workmen’s Compensation Claims.

Knowledge & Experience

  • 3 to 5 years of generalist or operational HR experience for many employees
  • Attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience in handling Industrial Relations and Employee Relations matters
  • Ability to motivate teams
  • Strong Emotional Intelligence exhibiting tact and patience
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Proven strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong understanding of local labor laws
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Time management skills
  • MS office skills
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours as required



  • Degree in Human Resources, Management, Business Administration
  • Certification in Industrial Relations


  • Dynamic interpersonal and communication  skills
  • Professional demeanor and dependable work ethic
  • Flexibility to work beyond regular working hours if necessary
