Medical Sales Representative - Curis Technologies

  • D'Martin/Chaguaramas / Arima/Sangre Grande / Point Fortin/La Brea

 CORE DUTIES

  • Markets and Sells the company’s various brands of Medical Equipment and Supplies. The aim is to surpass budgetary targets by brand (month on month.)
  • Visits existing and prospective customers (particularly major Public Hospitals and recognized Private Health Facilities) regularly. Through these visits, the focus will be to develop and maintain strong relationships and to ensure customer confidence in Curis’ respective brands.
  • Assists in identifying new areas for growth and collating such information for analysis.
  • Proposes, seeks approval and executes effective marketing and brand positioning strategies, so as to ensure “Top-of- Mind” Awareness of our brands for customer groups.
  • Monitors and tracks our main competitors and advises of tactics and strategies that can be implemented to counter rival activities.
  • Assists with the medical tendering process (purchasing tender documents, gathering market data, sourcing suppliers, collating tender, delivering tender and attending tender meetings etc.)
  • Co-ordinates customer order logistics e.g. Ministry of Health procurement documentation etc.
  • Facilitates meetings and presentations to key members of the Regional Health Authorities and Private Hospitals, Doctors, Nurses, Biomedical staff as necessary.


KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Must be familiar with working in a sales environment
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Must have access to vehicle for use on the job
  • Must be customer-service oriented.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • A first degree in Marketing or Business Management
  • At least two (2) years’ experience in a similar capacity
  • Prior experience in healthcare sales would be an asset


KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
