Summary of Job Description:

The Sales/Business Development Representative is the company's primary contact with client accounts/prospects and is responsible for promoting the company's range of services to existing and potential clients. The Sales/Business Development Representative initiates and manages relationships with assigned clients through a combination of scheduled "on site" visits, email and telephone contact. The incumbent is responsible for meeting established K.P.O.s geared towards achieving the company's sales targets for the territory.   Please see detailed job functions & responsibilities below.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • The Sales/Business Development Representative will report directly to the Sales Manager. 
  • Consistently meet and exceed assigned sales targets.
  • Identify and make contact with sales prospects and client accounts assigned on a routine and clearly defined basis.
  • Educate customers on all product/service features, offerings whilst building value in Piarco Air Services Ltd.'s customer relationships.
  • Collect, develop and maintain a current database of competitive market information.   
  • Assist in the preparation of quotations in accordance with established procedures and tariff guidelines.

  • Identify customer issues and provide appropriate solutions consistent with the company's policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of proposals, contracts et. to customers.
  • Consistently maintain professional standards of communication - written and oral, with all customers and employees of Piarco Air Services Ltd.
  • Maintain continued product/service knowledge to best meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Assist the sales team in the design and delivery of marketing strategies to achieve monthly targets and build customer loyalty.
  • Maintain and communicate through established channels an accurate daily record of all sales activity.
  • Any other tasks, activities, additional reporting related to Piarco Air Services Ltd.'s business as determined by management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 CXC O’ Levels including Mathematics & English 
  • Possess/have access to a well maintained/working vehicle
  • Possess over 2 years’ experience as a sales representative with ability to influence customers and close sales, customer service or marketing.
  • Ideal candidates should possess experience in a fast paced sales environment.
  • Effective interpersonal & Strong verbal/written Communication skills
  • An aggressive go-getter, who is punctual, responsible, self-motivated & able to work effectively without much supervision.
  • Position is open only to nationals of Trinidad and Tobago currently living in Trinidad & Tobago.
