Job description:


To handle all guest matters relating to registration, check in and out, processing payments, room assignments, queries and complaints.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Handle guest check-ins and check-outs appropriately
  • Operate hotel switchboard; take calls and provide information and transfer calls
  • Respond to queries regarding the hotel’s services, charges, dining facilities, sports facilities, local culture, places of interest and travel directions
  • Follow up on guest complaints ensuring that problems are resolved
  • Process bills, guest folios and receive payments
  • Account for all cash transactions accordingly upon receipt
  • Provide guests with information on the hotel’s facilities and services
  • Take reservations over the telephone, via email (when Reservations is closed) and in person
  • Perform Night Audit functions as requested
  • Ensure smooth and complete check out of guests, ensuring that all payments are received or billing instructions are conducted as authorised
  • Balance cash at the end of the shift and generate accounting reports for the benefit of the next shift and Accounting
  • Perform any other related duties as required


  • At least five (5) O’Level passes including Math and English Language
  • Two (2) A’Level passes or Associate Degree in Hospitality field from an accredited University or College
  • Must be computer literate
  • Strong administrative background
  • Prior experience in a related field will be an asset
  • Strong administrative background
  • Knowledge of the Opera system is an asset
  • Must exhibit excellent customer service skills
  • Must exhibit excellent grooming and deportment
  • Ability to speak and understand a foreign language (Spanish) will be an asset
  • Must exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must be able to work shifts, nights, weekends and public holidays
