JOB VACANCY: Project Manager – Permanent


Job Summary:

The Project Manager is responsible for organising middle-to-long range projects by developing comprehensive project plans to include design, build, testing, training, change management, communication and activation plans. The Project Manager is also responsible for financial, risk and stakeholder management, acting as a leader on projects, demonstrating information technology expertise, and translating that expertise into client solutions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate and coordinate with stakeholders and project teams to ensure large, complex projects progress on schedule and within budget;
  • Work closely with Applications Development Manager and clients’ Project Managers to ensure that system requirements are delivered;
  • Verify application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented;
  • Recommend strategies, policies and procedures to executive sponsors and other project stakeholders by identifying problems, researching trends, anticipating requirements and evaluating outcomes;
  • Manage and regularly communicate the scope of work, responsibilities and project statuses between all internal and external stakeholders;
  • Accountable for the quality and timeliness of information flow between key stakeholders;
  • Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting, monitoring, controlling and reporting on project expenditures, analysing variances and initiating corrective action;
  • Provide subject matter expertise in areas including project scope definition, risk identification, project methodology, resource allocation, facilitation etc. based on established project management techniques to ensure customer satisfaction, and
  • Any other duties as requested by the CEO.


  • Undergraduate degree in Information Systems, Business Management or any combination of relevant qualifications and experience; Post Graduate degree will be considered an asset
  • Certificate or Diploma in Project Management
  • Excellent Customer Service and Client interfacing skills
  • Strong Leadership skills
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal
  • Ability to also communicate in Spanish, French or Dutch will be considered an asset
  • Strong relationship management skills and demonstrated experience in managing projects effectively in a multi- stakeholder environment
  • Experience managing change/growth and working in a fast paced environment
  • Adaptable and “We-Can” attitude towards meeting deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Possessing strong values - Integrity, honesty and confidentiality
  • Ability to work flexible hours when needed
