Applications Analyst (HAND ARNOLD)


  • Assists in research and implementation of ERP modules and business applications.
  • Assist in the development and deployment of Business Intelligence solutions.
  • Write and communicate technical requirements for new and ongoing projects.
  • Maintain and update software, hardware, and training materials.
  • Develop and deliver operational reports and summaries of problems or technical difficulties.
  • Track, resolve, and document root causes of user technical problems.
  • Collaborate with IT team and developers to produce new systems.
  • Validate changes by testing programs.
  • Train users on the new operation systems and provide support.
  • Provide support for all business applications.
  • Recommends and implements software packages around the business applications and tests them for technical and business compatibility.
  • Lead external teams and projects to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Proactively suggest ways of improving system stability, availability, performance and reliability.
  • Provide advice and technical training.
  • Keep abreast of technology trends and developments.
  • Assist the Lead and CFO with anything else required.


  • First degree in Computer Science/Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
  • Database and SharePoint qualifications will be an asset.
  • A+ or relevant certification.
  • Business Intelligence and Reporting experience.
  • Experience in a distribution environment.
  • At least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar position. 


  • Excellent communication skills.
  • ERP Experience will be an asset.
  • Database and SharePoint qualifications will be an asset.
  • Understanding of accounting and finance will be an asset.
  • SQL, Access databases, SharePoint Reporting and documenting procedures.
  • Problem-solving aptitude.
  • Ability to perform complex tasks well under pressure.
  • Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative.
