Some Duties and Responsibilities
1. Planning 1.1 Formulates and implements systems and procedures by continuously monitoring the operations of the branch so as to improve efficiency. 1.2 Formulates and implements innovative strategies designed to achieve targets specified in the annual business plan to ensure the economic viability of the Service Centre Port of Spain.
2. Staff 2.1 Conducts weekly/monthly meets with supervisors to review and discuss the branch’s performance and develop action plan where necessary. 2.2 Develops staff by training/coaching, counselling and creating systems, which facilitate empowerment of staff thereby enhancing staff and ultimately the branch performance.
3. Customer Relations 3.1 Establishes and maintains favourable business relationships with customers by maintaining contact with same so as to expand the company’s revenue and customer base. 3.2 Treats efficiently with customer’s complaints/queries referred by supervisors in order to minimize customer’s dissatisfaction.
4. Management Reports 4.1 Prepares and submits to the Business Unit managers monthly reports on department’s performance by recording and collating daily sales report, supervisor’s feedback etc. to enable the executive to make strategic decisions.
5. Finance 5.1 Develops and implements systems to monitor and track department’s expenditures and revenues so as to ensure compliance with financial standards/company policy and procedures. 5.2 Manages receivables by monitoring daily, receivables status and formulating and implementing strategies to ensure that these accounts do not exceed stipulated period.
