Ensures restaurant is the employer of choice in the community by bringing to life the People Promise:
Demonstrates and reinforces the leadership behaviors and basic people minimums (uniforms, communication, training during the shifts, etc.) necessary to gain commitment from crew and managers
Executes a plan based on an employee commitment measurement to increase employee’s loyalty, satisfaction and pride with the work experience
Knows, enforces and educates crew and managers on all appropriate personnel policies, labour laws, health and security procedures
Contributes to plan to select and retain crew based on restaurant people forecast
Manages the development and training to crew and shift managers, including crew initial and follow up orientations
Maintains critical standards for raw finished product quality, service speed and quality, cleanliness and sanitation
Models performance standards for all crew stations and maintenance as needed
Executes any established plans, to improve external customer’s satisfaction in line with the promise of the brand to increase their loyalty
Effectively uses pre-shift and shift planning tools to ensure optimum Quality Service Cleanliness and assigns/or moves crew within positions to meet volume demands. Prepares shift for changeover with next manager
Manages shift and/or areas without supervision
Support local stores marketing plans and national promotions to maximize sales potential within the community
Effectively schedules to build the business on all day parts
Assists in the implementation of new products procedures
Properly executes , enforces and manages all food safety and sanitation requirements and practices
Ensures all security procedures protocols are followed
Controls assigned P&L line items
Controls labor, waste, cash and while managing shifts and/or areas
Establishes and follows-up on any related action plans
Qualifications and Experience
Ø Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Management.
Ø At least 3 years’ experience in a managerial role, preferably within the hospitality sector.
Ø Working knowledge of Restaurant Operations (Quick Service).
Ø Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ø Proficient in Microsoft Office
Ø Must have sound judgment and discretionary skills.
Ø Must display very good organization and time management skills.
Ø Exceptional service orientation with keen ability to focus and deliver on guest needs.
Ø Highly organized, performance driven and can be hands-on when required
Ø The ability to produce and analyses reports
Ø Good numeracy and problem-solving skills
Ø Flexibility and availability to work extended hours including weekends and holidays
