Job description:




The Accounting Clerk is responsible for providing support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks emphasis on but not limited to the Accounts Receivable/Payable processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:



  • Perform day to day financial transactions including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data
  • Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits
  • Update, manage and reconcile petty cash account
  • Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and readily available when needed
  • Verify and solve billing issues
  • Prepare budgets related to projects and assignments
  • Create monthly forecast and actual budgets and sales
  • Prepare monthly reports and reconciliations
  • Any other related duties
Job Demands
Qualifications & Experience
  • Currently pursuing ACCA Level 2
  • At least 2 years working in a Accounts department
  • Must be Computer literate and proficient in Excel
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and Accounting Software
  • Experience in budgeting and payroll will be an asset
  • Good analytical skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to be disciplined and have a professional approach to working, recognizing the importance of confidentially and liaising with Management
  • Good customer service skills and telephone etiquette
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
