Job description:

Innovative Security Technologies Ltd, one of the leaders in the security industry, with
its headquarters located in San Fernando, is seeking to recruit suitable nationals of Trinidad and
Tobago for the position of Drivers.

A Driver / Security Officer is responsible for maintaining the record of duty status. They must adhere to ISTL Driving Policy, practice defensive driving skills and safety regulations to protect themselves and other road users.

JOB DESCRIPTION                                      

  • Inspects vehicle for defects and safe operating conditions before, during and after trips and submit a written report on the condition of the vehicle at the end of each trip or tour of duty.
  • Drives vehicle to and from designated destinations.
  • Must be familiar with basic vehicle technology of safe operating and handling of ISTL vehicles.
  • Monitors vehicle mileage to compliment Regular Service Scheduling.
  • Reports all accidents and incidents involving drivers and or company vehicle.
  • Promptly reports any delays due to breakdowns, weather or traffic conditions or other emergencies, or in the event of irregularities relating to pickup or drop off of officers.
  • Performs the duties of a Security Officer in accordance with ISTL Policy.
  • Reports all incidents and issues arising out of any assigned location.
  • Maintains a professional relationship with clients and staff.
  • Ensures compliance to the Company’s Policies and Procedures.
  • Updates and maintains Pocket Diary, Station Diary, Registers and Logs.
  • Performs other related duties as directed by the Operations Manager/Supervisor.

Qualifications required:


  • Must be twenty-five (25) years and over.
  • A valid (Class 3) Driver’s Permit. Class 4, 5 will be an asset.
  • Minimum of three (3) years driving experience with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Certificate of Character
  • One (1) Recommendation.
