Job description:

Marketing Officer

The incumbent will be responsible for preparing, planning and project managing the publication of all publicity material to maximize brand promotion



a)      Preparing, planning and project managing the publication of all publicity material to maximize brand promotion.

b)      Creating and executing marketing campaigns.

c)       Creating and developing new innovative ways to communicate the company products to existing customers.

d)      Planning and project managing marketing events and evaluating their success.

e)      Organize and attend marketing activities or events to raise brand awareness.

f)       Evaluating the effectiveness of all marketing activity.

g)      Developing and implementing an internal marketing programme.

h)      Supporting the Sales and Marketing Manager in day to day marketing activities.

i)        Prepare content for the publication of marketing material and oversee distribution.

j)        Plan, develop and deliver advertising and promotional campaigns as agreed within timescales for products or services on a variety of media, i.e. social, print etc.

k)      Performs any other related duties required by management to ensure the successful completion and/or running of RPL’s operations.

Social Media

a)      Research audience preferences and discover trends.

b)      Create engaging text, image and video content.

c)       Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create a buzz around new products.

d)      Stay up to date with changes in all social platforms.

e)      Respond to queries received and engage in online conversations with customers.

f)       Develop an optimal posting schedule.

g)      Oversee social media account layout.

h)      Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and competitions.


a)      Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration.

b)      Minimum of five (5) CXC O’Level passes (including Math and English)


a)      Minimum experience of one (1) year in a similar position.

b)      Expertise in multiple social media platforms

c)       Experience in marketing, advertising, brand management and sales.
