We are seeking to
recruit a suitably qualified person to fill the position of:
HR Generalist – Trinidad
As Human Resource Generalist, you will be responsible for providing human resources services, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation and benefits administration, training and development, records management, employee and industrial relations. You will also partner with Line Managers in order to develop human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information and recommending courses of action. You will identify and clarify problems, evaluate and implement solutions as well as counsel managers and employees with the aim of improving employee relations.
- HR Service Delivery: Ensures the delivery of a
range of HR support and internal consultancy services, inclusive of
employee services, recruitment, training and development, compensation and
benefits administration, performance management, and employee relations
and HR records management, to assigned areas consistent with HR Policies
and Guidelines, Service Level Agreements and corporate objectives.
Effectiveness: Ensures effective and
efficient utilization of assigned resources, towards achieving operational
goals and standards, as well as budgetary compliance.
- Employee Engagement: Actively supports the
implementation and rollout of Employee engagement initiatives of the
organization. Facilitates active engagement and communication with and to
staff members, fostering an environment of team and shared values.
- Reporting: Ensure the delivery of
accurate and timely operational and other reports, with a view to supporting
effective data analysis and decision making.
You will have a Bachelor’s degree, with a minimum of three (3) years of HR experience performing at an operational level.
You must have operational exposure to a wide range of HR and general business
disciplines. You must have experience in working with an HRIS. Knowledge of
compensation management and industrial relations experience will be an asset.
You must have effective team management skills, with excellent understanding of best practice HR management theories.
You must be business oriented, have good understanding of business requirements
and be used to working in a fast paced working environment. You will have
excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate to all levels
within the organization.
