Reporting to the Vice President, Corporate Affairs, the Corporate Affairs Assistant will support the delivery of the internal, external and executive communications objectives of NiQuan Energy. The successful candidate will also participate in marketing communications and in the development and execution of special projects. The primary function of this role is to provide day to day communications support to the NiQUAN GTL production facility and the executive team. In addition to the skillsets associated with a corporate communications role, duties will also have an advanced administrative element requiring considerable skill and in-depth knowledge of organizational policies and procedures. Part of this requirement will involve the establishment and maintenance of a range of corporate databases and contact lists as well as the project website. There will also be a demanding internal communications component, working with Human Resources to sustainemployee engagement through the development and delivery of timely and compelling material.
Qualifications/ Experience Required
The successful candidate will possess good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including a thorough knowledge of grammar and punctuation, and be happy to work as part of a team or independently with minimal direction as circumstances require. Experience of working in the Energy Sector would be an advantage but proficiency in organizational and project management skills, as well as the ability to multitask, is more important. The candidate must be able to take the initiative and prioritize when necessary and have the ability to work well under pressure in a demanding and multi-disciplinary team.
