Job Title: INVENTORY SUPERVISOR

Job Type: Permanent full-time
POSITION – INVENTORY SUPERVISOR
The position has overall responsibility for inventory control of all facility accounts. Activities include, but are not limited to, evaluation of existing processes as they relate to inventory accuracy, schedule and reconcile cycle counts and any required physical counts, the processing of any inventory adjustments, and all communication with Management / clients as it pertains to inventory.
Work closely with the relevant personnel to address any and all inventory issues that arise.
Schedule and reconcile all cycle counts in accordance with Customer specifications.
Monitor processes to reduce errors and focus on root causes of perpetual inventory inaccuracies.
Investigate and resolve all out of balance inventory conditions.
Order and manage labor in accordance with current projects
Process any necessary inventory adjustments & corrections, including all system updates.
Conduct audits in receiving and order fulfillment to identify process issues that impact inventory accuracy.
Development and weekly reporting of Inventory data
Training staff to increase inventory accuracy and eliminate procedural errors that affect inventory accuracy.
Development of warehouse and office procedures by system and customer to eliminate inventory issues and increase accuracy to acceptable levels.
Plan, prioritize and monitor work results of owned department
Management responsibility including coaching, developing, training of staff.
Administer policies and procedures related to area of responsibility
Participate in management meetings and facility committees as required.
Two to five years experience in inventory management and control.
Strong multi-tasking and problem solving abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient with systems (i.e.: Microsoft products; warehouse management systems, etc)
Must possess excellent time management skills to manage high volume in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent customer service
System knowledge – ability to learn and work with several systems / software to improve inventory accuracy
