Job description:

Job requirements:

  • Analyzing stock levels and coordinating orders from both foreign and local suppliers.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to guarantee optimum pricing and terms.
  • To liaise with freight companies and handle the logistics of all incoming shipments
  • To update team leaders on the arrival and clearing status of shipments
  • To Cost all cleared shipments

Educational Requirements:

  • Must have an Advance Certificate in CIPS (Purchasing & Supply) or equivalent.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Familiar with Great Plains Dynamics
  • Familiarity with Customs Regulations, requirements and Procedures.
  • Experience in a similar position will be an asset.

  • Excellent customer service skills/ analytical, problem-solving and decision making skills.
  • Good execution and evaluation skills
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
