Business Improvement Manager

Job Summary

 

The Business Improvement Manager will report to the Head of Business Optimization. The selected candidate will be required to deliver on the strategic business improvement plan in line with corporate and service priorities focussing on delivering efficiencies and improved service user experience. He/she will provide expertise and manage resources to ensure that key business improvement transformation projects are completed in accordance with pre-determined timelines and within the required budget and standard of delivery.

KEY DELIVERABLES
  • Business Improvement- Design, organise and facilitate business analysis and change activity with staff at all levels and external stakeholders, developing a strong understanding of their current and future requirements and the change required to meet future outcomes.
  • Operational Effectiveness:  Ensures effective and efficient utilization of assigned resources, towards achieving operational goals and standards, as well as budgetary compliance.  
  • Continuous Improvement -Review current systems and processes always looking for continuous system improvement with the view of meeting and exceeding operational goals and standards
  • Strategy Development- Optimizes the business impact by understanding and applying data-driven intelligence to create change; quickly applies these industry, partner, customer derived insights to inform decisions and drive strategy
PERSON SPECIFICATION

You will have a Bachelor’s degree, with a minimum of five (5) years experience performing at a similar position in a complex organization. You must have experience and certification in Project Management. You must exhibit a high level of competency in managing highly complex projects and the ability to lead and deliver high impact transformational projects. You must have good understanding of mapping business requirements and be able to working in a fast paced working environment. You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate to all levels within the organization. You must be able to engage, inspire and influence people as well as being able to drive solutions whenever required. MBA qualification is strongly preferred.
