Technical Services Technician
The Technical Services Technician will report to the Technical Services Team Leader. The selected candidate will be responsible for updating and maintaining the department’s inventory system as well as administer and operate the repair centre. He/She will monitor and replenish spare parts inventory and support the delivery of the I.T. departmental KPIs.
- Administers, prioritises and controls the repair centre ensuring repair works are recorded and addressed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assists in the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records relating to inventory control of all hardware, software and spares.
- Ensures that the Company meets license, insurance and maintenance requirements and that the asset life cycle is managed.
- Administers and participates in the maintenance, upgrading and troubleshooting of the Company’s computing hardware and performs the installation, testing, maintenance, documentation and support of systems hardware,
You must have a Diploma in Information Systems, Computer Science, MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) or MCITP (Microsoft Certified IT Professional). You must also have certification in COMPTIA and A+ with a minimum of three years’ experience in installing, repairing, maintaining and troubleshooting computers, laptops, printers and other peripheral devices. Knowledge of the Company’s ICT infrastructure and N+ would be an asset.
