Job description:

General Accountability:

The Administrative Assistant renders administrative support to Members of the Management Team and acts as holiday relief for the pool of Administrative Assistants from time to time. 

Duties include: the typing of memorandums and letters, preparing reports, establishing and maintaining manual and electronic filing, ensuring that all confidential files/documents are properly secured and in accordance with set standards and systems, maintaining databases, performing audits, scheduling meetings and performing other supportive duties like taking minutes and maintaining and receiving telephone calls for members of the Management Team assigned to work with.

Minimum Acceptable Academic/Technical/ Professional Qualifications

  • Five C.X.C/G.C.E O’Level passes including Mathematics and English Language

Minimum number of Years of Relevant Experience

  • Two (2) years experience in a similar environment

Specific Skills/Experience and/ or Knowledge

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Well developed interpersonal skills
  • Ability to function as an effective team member
  • Ability to work effectively under conditions with frequent and multiple interruptions
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work assignments
  • Working knowledge of computer applications.
  • Knowledge of proper grammar, spelling and punctuation.
