One of the companies in the group is Rahamut Enterprises Ltd (REL). REL is the largest retailer and distributor of diesel fuel on behalf of NP and the largest transporter of other petroleum products and bulk liquids, servicing local and multinational consumers. In the non fuel division, REL is exclusive distributor of the range of Phillips 66 lubricants which includes Phillips 66, 76, and Kendall lubricants and greases. The Phillips66 brand offers optimal equipment protection and performance and maintains a strong brand presence in the mining, natural gas engine oil, power generation, injection molding, construction/aggregate, fleet, automotive and industrial market segments; the Kendall brand is highly regarded in the passenger car and heavy-duty engine oil segments as a premium performance lubricant with the 76 brand offering a good value priced lubricant.
Serving as the hand of reliability in its customers’ businesses REL provides oil testing and other analytical services through its in-house lab and in collaboration with Insight Services of the USA as their representative for the Trinidad market. The company serves over 1500 customers comprising fleet, large industrial and retail/automotive outlets. It also operates two (2) company owned Kendall Customer Experience Stores, the first of its kind in the lubricant industry. In the environmental and safety products arena REL is the exclusive distributor of PRIDE products, both coolants and degreasers.
The operation in based in San Fernando and has a staff complement of approximately 80 persons.

The Sales Representative - Technical and Key Accounts (SR) plays an important role in driving the sales numbers of the business with respect to both the non fuel and fuel parts of the business to specific channel(s). The SR will report to the GM and will be responsible for:
- Management of the trade strategies and distribution of the products in the defined channels and implementation and execution of specific projects specifically, energy/ infrastructure, port, government, industrial plant, marine and any other sector as identified by the GM.
- Understanding the channel strategy and developing a trade plan to accomplish it. The SR must also monitor and evaluate market trends, consumer behaviour and competitor activities and identify new opportunities or evaluate potential risks in the environment.
- Achieving agreed sales targets
- Delivering consistent and continuous channel penetration and sales growth though business development of key accounts
- Building strong customer relationships
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Bachelors in Marketing or Business or equivalent degree.
Three (3) years experience in consultative sales and at least one (1) in leading a sales team or experience performing at a more senior sales level.
Theoretical and Practical Experience in sales function and marketing fundamentals.
An appreciation of the economic, social and cultural factors that influence sales performance, interpersonal skills, calculative and communicative ability, interpretative judgement and working knowledge of management theory and practice is also a valuable asset.
Proven ability to plan, develop and execute sales strategies.
Well developed commercial awareness.
Excellent communication, listening and presentation skills
Some understanding and using a CRM
Some understanding of implementing/using handhelds
