Job Summary:

This Contract position is responsible for the day-to-day administrative and ancillary needs associated with the Capital Projects Department, and is the main point of contact and communication of project status between the Department, Construction Manager, Contractors and any other member of Senior Management as required.

Duties include, but are not limited to: -  Prepares and provides reporting of all Project stage documentation - drawings, purchase requisitions, PO’s, schedule updates, costs analysis, quality assurance and inspection documentation, construction management reports, and commissioning material; Collates, prepares and issues daily and weekly status reports to include Project financial data, costs and estimates to end project costs, work breakdown structures, spend profiles, cost reports, and actual vs. planned man-hours Planned Man-hours, in addition to any other required reports; Prepares gantt charts, flow diagrams, and any other graphic representation as required; Resolves PO issue and invoice related issues with Contractors or Vendors.

Qualifications/ Experience Required

BSc Degree in Project Management or Project Cost Control Management with a minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in a similar role within a project environment, with an excellent understanding of project administration and controls, preferably within the oil and gas industry. Accounting or Level 2 A.C.C.A and proven experience in a project start-up will be an considered as assets.

Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Visio, PowerPoint, and Access, with demonstrated expertise in the use of Projects Systems and Materials Management e.g., Docushare, Maximo or SAP.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills complemented with strong organization and administration skills. Demonstrated analytical skills with strong attention to detail and presentation with proven track record of meeting productivity and quality targets.
