Job Title: Accounts Clerk



Job Type: Permanent full-time

Job description:




General Purpose

  • To provide financial, clerical and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate payment of accounts

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Maintains up-to-date billing system
  • Generates and sends out invoices
  • Follow up on, collects and allocates payments
  • Prepares bank deposits
  • Researches and resolves account discrepancies and queries
  • Processes adjustments
  • Posts payments to the Sub-Ledger
  • Maintains accounts receivable customer files and records
  • Generates aged analysis
  • Generates periodic (monthly, quarterly, annual) reports

Education and Experience

  • Five CXC passes, including English and Mathematics
  • 1 – 3 years accounts receivable and general accounting experience
  • Proficiency in relevant computer software
