🎯 Position Overview
The Maintenance Labourer is assigned to E-IDCOT’s Maintenance Unit and is primarily stationed at the Cove Tobago Eco-Industrial and Business Park. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining the grounds, landscaping, drains, paved areas, and facility surroundings to support a safe, clean, and well-kept operational environment.
📋 Key Duties & Responsibilities
1. Groundskeeping & Vegetation Control
Landscape Maintenance: Cut grass, weeds, trees, and other vegetation using appropriate tools. Trimming and maintaining plants according to the work schedule or Supervisor standards.
Waste Removal: Remove grass and vegetative cuttings to designated areas identified in the work schedule or by the Supervisor.
Plant Care: Hydrate lawns and plants at the Factory Shells and Multi-Producer Units using the associated sprinkler systems.
2. Facilities & Infrastructure Maintenance
Drain Clearing: Clear concrete or earthen drains of vegetation and obstacles to ensure proper, unimpeded water flow.
Surface Cleaning: Clean streets, pavements, car parks, and paved areas associated with assigned buildings using designated tools.
Construction Support: Assist with minor construction works as required.
3. General Compliance & Maintenance
Grounds Support: Perform other related groundskeeping and maintenance activities as needed.
Corporate Compliance: Fully comply with Company policies and procedures, adhering to E-IDCOT’s Core Values and Code of Business Conduct through daily behavior.

Tool & Equipment Care: Proper maintenance and care of assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), machinery, and tools.
Safety & Hazard Prevention: Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment, good housekeeping, and preventing activities that could lead to disasters (e.g., bushfires).
Workplace Conduct: Professional demeanor, adherence to E-IDCOT’s positive organizational culture, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
