1. INTRODUCTION

Welcome to TrinidadJob.com and TrinidadJob.ai (collectively, the “Platform,” “Website,” “Services,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), owned and operated by TrinidadJob.com Limited, a company incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of TrinidadJob.com, TrinidadJob.ai, mobile applications, APIs, artificial intelligence services, recruitment tools, and any related products and services offered by TrinidadJob.com Limited.

By accessing, browsing, registering for, or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must discontinue use of the Services immediately.


2. DEFINITIONS

“Candidate” means any individual seeking employment, contract work, freelance work, internships, or career opportunities.

“Employer” means any organization, company, recruiter, staffing agency, government entity, or individual using the Platform to advertise jobs or identify candidates.

“Content” means text, images, videos, resumes, job postings, advertisements, software, data, AI-generated outputs, and other materials available through the Services.

“User” means any person accessing or using the Services.

“AI Services” means artificial intelligence tools, automated matching systems, recommendation engines, resume analyzers, career assistants, screening tools, and related technologies provided through TrinidadJob.ai.


3. ELIGIBILITY

You may use the Services only if:

  • You are at least eighteen (18) years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction;
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements;
  • You are not prohibited from using the Services under applicable law;
  • You provide accurate registration information.

If you use the Services on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.


4. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION

You agree to:

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any Service at any time without prior notice.


6. USER CONTENT

Users may upload, submit, or publish:

  • Resumes
  • Cover letters
  • Job postings
  • Company profiles
  • Comments
  • Messages
  • Images
  • Documents

You retain ownership of your content.

However, by submitting content to the Platform, you grant TrinidadJob.com Limited a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to:

  • Store the content;
  • Display the content;
  • Process the content;
  • Index the content;
  • Distribute the content as necessary to provide Services;
  • Use the content to improve Platform functionality and AI-powered recruitment features.

This license continues for as long as necessary to provide Services and comply with legal obligations.


7. ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY

You agree not to:

Illegal Activities

  • Violate any law or regulation;
  • Commit fraud;
  • Impersonate another person or entity.

Harmful Conduct

  • Upload malware or malicious code;
  • Interfere with Platform operations;
  • Circumvent security measures;
  • Access unauthorized systems.

Employment Misconduct

  • Post false job advertisements;
  • Misrepresent employment opportunities;
  • Collect candidate information for unauthorized purposes;
  • Engage in discriminatory hiring practices prohibited by law.

Content Violations

  • Publish defamatory material;
  • Publish obscene content;
  • Publish unlawful content;
  • Infringe intellectual property rights.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.


8. JOB POSTINGS

Employers are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and legitimacy of job advertisements.

Employers agree that job postings:

  • Must describe genuine opportunities;
  • Must comply with applicable employment laws;
  • Must not be misleading or deceptive;
  • Must not promote unlawful activities.

TrinidadJob.com Limited does not guarantee the authenticity of employers, recruiters, candidates, or job opportunities.


9. RESUME DATABASE

Candidates may upload resumes and professional profiles.

By uploading a resume, candidates acknowledge that:

  • Employers may review and retain submitted information;
  • Resume visibility settings may affect accessibility;
  • Publicly searchable resumes may be viewed by authorized employers and recruiters.

We cannot guarantee that third parties will not copy or retain information once accessed.


10. AI SERVICES DISCLAIMER

TrinidadJob.ai utilizes artificial intelligence and automated technologies.

AI-generated outputs may include:

  • Candidate recommendations;
  • Resume evaluations;
  • Job matching suggestions;
  • Career guidance;
  • Recruitment assistance.

Users acknowledge that:

  • AI outputs may contain inaccuracies;
  • AI recommendations are informational only;
  • AI services do not constitute professional, legal, employment, immigration, financial, or human resource advice;
  • Employment decisions should involve human review and independent judgment.

TrinidadJob.com Limited does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated outputs.


11. FEES AND PAYMENTS

Certain Services may require payment.

Users agree to:

  • Pay applicable fees;
  • Provide valid payment information;
  • Pay applicable taxes and governmental charges.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Fees are non-refundable;
  • Subscription fees renew automatically;
  • Prices may change upon notice.

Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of Services.


12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All Platform content excluding user-generated content is owned by or licensed to TrinidadJob.com Limited.

Protected materials include:

  • Logos
  • Trademarks
  • Software
  • Databases
  • Designs
  • Graphics
  • AI models
  • Website content

Users may not:

  • Copy;
  • Reproduce;
  • Distribute;
  • Reverse engineer;
  • Modify;
  • Create derivative works

without prior written permission.


13. COPYRIGHT COMPLAINTS

If you believe content infringes your intellectual property rights, you may submit a written notice including:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work;
  • Identification of the allegedly infringing content;
  • Contact information;
  • Good faith statement;
  • Authority statement.

We may remove allegedly infringing content while investigating complaints.


14. PRIVACY

Use of the Services is governed by our Privacy Policy.

By using the Services, you consent to the collection, use, processing, and disclosure of information as described in the Privacy Policy.


15. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The Platform may contain links to:

  • Recruitment systems;

We do not endorse or control third-party services and are not responsible for their content, security, or privacy practices.


16. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”

TRINIDADJOB.COM LIMITED DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING:

  • MERCHANTABILITY;
  • FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE;
  • NON-INFRINGEMENT;
  • ACCURACY;
  • RELIABILITY;
  • AVAILABILITY.

We do not guarantee:

  • Employment outcomes;
  • Candidate quality;
  • Hiring success;
  • Continuous service availability;
  • Error-free operation.

17. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRINIDADJOB.COM LIMITED SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Lost profits;
  • Lost revenue;
  • Lost business opportunities;
  • Data loss;
  • Employment decisions;
  • Recruitment outcomes;
  • Indirect damages;
  • Incidental damages;
  • Consequential damages;
  • Punitive damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Services shall not exceed the amount paid by the user to TrinidadJob.com Limited during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Where no fees were paid, our maximum liability shall not exceed TT$500.


18. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TrinidadJob.com Limited, its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, contractors, agents, successors, and assigns from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Services;
  • Violation of these Terms;
  • Violation of law;
  • Infringement of third-party rights;
  • User content submitted by you.

19. TERMINATION

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services:

  • For violation of these Terms;
  • For suspected fraud;
  • For security concerns;
  • For non-payment;
  • Where required by law.

Termination may occur without prior notice.

Upon termination, your right to access the Services immediately ceases.


20. FORCE MAJEURE

TrinidadJob.com Limited shall not be liable for delays or failures resulting from events beyond reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters;
  • Hurricanes;
  • Floods;
  • Power failures;
  • Internet outages;
  • Cyberattacks;
  • Labor disputes;
  • Government actions;
  • Public emergencies.

21. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, without regard to conflict of law principles.


22. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Any dispute arising from these Terms or the use of the Services shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiations.

If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.

Users irrevocably submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Trinidad and Tobago.


23. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.


24. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional agreements incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between the user and TrinidadJob.com Limited regarding the Services.


25. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time.

Updated versions will be posted on the Platform with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Continued use of the Services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
