Communications Advisor Full Time NEW

Job Purpose
To develop and implement communication systems to promote effective stakeholder engagement (internal and external), corporate brand/ image management consistent with best practices and company policy and procedures.
Key Accountabilities
Coordinates the design and implementation of the Company’s reputation management strategies and activities.
Plans and executes promotional campaigns, company events and community engagement activities.
Prepares presentations, proposals, speeches, releases, articles, and other communiques and materials for approval and dissemination.
Monitors trends in social media applications, channels, design and strategy.
Manages the company’s website and social media accounts.
Provides research to inform and assist in the development of brand and media strategies to effectively manage relationships between the Company and its stakeholders.
Evaluates key issues that impacts the reputation of the Company and recommends solutions.
Implements social investment programs and key initiatives to maintain the Company’s corporate image and identity.
Develops, evaluates and implements communications programs.
Monitors and evaluates the value and impact of the Company funded activities and events to promote corporate image.
Undertakes any other assignments required from time to time, to fulfill the job purpose.

Job Specifications
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media and Communications, Public Relations, Internal Relations or a related discipline.
Minimum Experience:

A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the field of Public Relations or Communications with a minimum of three (3) years in the oil and gas industry.
Comprehensive knowledge and application of communication, public relations principles and practices, information technology, multimedia, mass media, photography, and social media.
