VACANCY NOTICE

We are seeking to recruit suitably qualified persons to fill the position of:

CREW CONTROL OFFICER

(GRADE 3)

(CONTRACT POSITION)

JOB SUMMARY:

The Crew Control Officer will report to the Supervisor, Crew Scheduling and Control. The selected candidate will assist in managing Pilot and Cabin Crew rosters, thereby ensuring that all flights meet the requirements in accordance with TTCAA rules and regulations as well as the company’s standard operating procedures. The incumbent will coordinate training to ensure that all crew qualifications are up to date. He /she will handle disruptions in the schedule and communicate changes to the flight crew as necessary. This is a fixed-term (contract) position. The duration of the contract is two (2) years.

KEY DELIVERABLES:

Customer Service: Seek ways to improve service delivery by assessing the organization and its service from the customer’s point of view.

Scheduling: Responsible for the coordination of published fight and cabin crew rosters, ensuring correct crew complement and compliance with regulatory, industrial and company requirements.

Operational Effectiveness- Assesses available resources during disruption and implementation of cost effective, legal recovery plans in accordance with any regulatory and company policies.

Compliance: Ensures compliance with national and international aviation requirements, and in particular, with the terms and conditions of TTCAA.

Relationship Management: Builds and develops internal and external relationships in the best interests of the Company.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:

You must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a related position, preferably in the airline industry, with a minimum of (5) CXC passes, including Maths and English. You must be proficient in the MS Office Suite and, in particular, Word and Excel. You must understand the aviation operational environment, or similar logistical operation would be an asset. You must be able to work a shift system.

You will have a strong customer service orientation, the ability to work independently; be able to make real-time decisions under pressure and demonstrate excellent written and oral communication and analytical skills.
