REGISTRAR – ANAESTHESIA & INTENSIVE CARE (AICU)
JOB TITLE: Registrar – Anaesthesia & Intensive Care (AICU)

Job Summary
To ensure the timely, efficient and effective delivery of quality diagnosis, treatment and care for all clients / patients.
Key Functions
• Provides efficient and effective Anaesthetic Services and Intensive Care Unit Management to patients.
• Supervises and guides medical officers, technicians and other staff members.
• Ensures compliance with quality controls and guidelines.
• Assists in consultation to the relevant departments.
• Provides and ensures the delivery of a high quality of health care to patients / clients.
Minimum Requirements and Experience
• A University Degree in Medicine supplemented by Certification with a DM in Anaesthetics or equivalent Post Graduate Qualification.
• Registration with the Medical Board of Trinidad and Tobago as a Medical Practitioner.
• At least four (4) post qualification years’ experience in a similar related job function.
• Consideration may be given to an equivalent combination of qualifications, training and experience.
