Job Purpose
To facilitate onshore logistics for the safe, cost effective, reliable and efficient allocation movement of the fleet, materials, equipment and supplies to support upstream operations and maintenance business needs.
Key Accountabilities
Ensures vendor compliance to HPCL’s contract and standards for the provision of fleet vehicles, transport and lifting equipment.
Provides inputs for departmental and BU budgets, monitors and controls utilization of fleet vehicles, transport and lifting equipment.
Reviews schedules and implements systems to ensure on-time delivery and optimization of transport and lifting equipment.
Reviews, evaluates and recommends changes to contracts, policies, procedures and practices related to the inspection of fleet vehicles, transport and lifting equipment.
Prioritizes and ensures accuracy and timeliness of all financial transactions and physical movement of equipment.
Implements and oversees the management of systems utilizing GPS for the monitoring and reporting on fleet movement, monitoring fuel usage and efficiency, inspection and service history to improve process and delivery.
Reviews and ensures compliance of preventative maintenance schedule for fleet vehicles.
Oversees the implementation of Control of Work (COW) systems for the safe management of vehicle fleet activities.
Undertakes any other assignments required from time to time, to fulfil the job purpose

Job Specifications
Minimum Qualifications
Associate Degree Business/Management or equivalent discipline.
Certification is Logistics, Transportation and Distribution will be an asset.
Minimum Experience
A minimum of five (5) years’ related logistics experience in the oil and gas industry.
