Job Purpose
To conduct evaluations and monitor upstream Alliance and Contracts sublicence partners and provide recommendations on production optimization from assigned wells and fields and grant relevant approvals in keeping with Company policies and procedures, best practices and industry standards.
Key Accountabilities
• Conducts evaluations and/or joint studies to improve well monitoring and to accurately determine production from existing Alliance and Contracts blocks
• Assists in preparing production forecasts for Alliance and Contracts blocks to inform internal Budgets/Regulatory requests.
• Assists in compiling data packages (Compiles well files to identify wells, fields, acreages, assets) and bid documents for asset monetization.
• Assists in conducting reviews of Enhanced Oil Recovery, drilling and workover proposals as well as Land Management clearance submissions by Operators to ensure engineering, regulatory and contractual compliance for MEEI approval.
• Assists in the review of reports for executed programs to obtain MEEI approval and ensure accuracy of all Operators hardcopy submissions.
• Assists with the conduct of Quarterly Lease Reviews; monitors production performance and Minimum Work Obligation of Alliance and Contracts partners to ensure contractual obligations are met.
• Provides requisite support in the evaluation of new business arrangements for Alliance and Contracts to inform decision-making.
• Assists in reviewing commercial terms of A&C contracts and ensures agreements are compliant and current with internal and external financial policy and standards.
• Assists in negotiations on Alliance and Contracts matters and provides guidance and support to other functions/ team members.
• Assists in providing interpretations on Alliance and Contracts agreements for accounting, engineering, production, operations and business development.
• Provides information to respond to Operator concerns ensuring adherence to the agreements.
• Assist in providing all documents from production related projects in support of the Company’s Reserve Replacement.
• Assists with the review of proposed new technologies submitted by Operators.
• Assist with Operator requests for data with Technical Services
• Undertakes any other assignments required from time to time, to fulfil the job purpose.

Job Specifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Natural Sciences, Petroleum/ Chemical/ Mechanical Engineering,
Knowledge of finance and economics will be an asset.
Minimum Experience
A minimum of two (2) years’ relevant working experience in JV or similar contract structures
