Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Electrical Foreman, the Tradesman B is accountable for the performance of specialized electrical maintenance, servicing and repair activities on all plant and auxiliary equipment.
Key and Critical Responsibilities
Perform less specialized and less complex electrical maintenance duties.
Assist in repairs/ replaces components and parts for process plant.
Assist in the selection of tools and equipment to perform the required tasks.
Complete reports and checklist consistent with the preventative maintenance programme.
Read/interpret drawings, sketches, standards and/ or instructions.
Assist in the planning jobs with respect to availability of parts, tools, personnel and safety.
Carries out all work activities in accordance with the company’s health & safety, environmental and quality policies, guidelines and regulations.
Perform any job-related duties as may be required from time to time.
Key Competencies
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Three (3) CXC/GCE Ordinary Level subjects including English Language and Mathematics.
Electrical Craft Certificate.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Two (2) years as an Electrician in an industrial environment.
CORE COMPETENCIES & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Team player.
Good communications skills.
Able to work under demanding conditions.
