The Spa Coordinator forms a professional and operational partnership with Spa management.
Position Responsibilities/ Essential Functions
Ensure all Hyatt guests and clients are positively greeted and they can proceed to their chosen activity quickly and efficiently.
Effectively communicate all pertinent Spa information to guests;
Compiling all Payroll information;
Updating the Department logs – inclusive of the Suite maintenance, Fitness Centre Inspection and Spa equipment maintenance;
Coordinating suppliers & inputting purchasing requests;
Completing inventory and the relevant reports;
Updating guest preference and promotions tracking;
Completing gift certificates and the relevant reports;
Promoting safety and sanitation;
Answering and following through on guest requests;
Manage the guests’ experience from pre-arrival to check out.
Assisting with other administrative duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
A minimum of two (2) years relevant experience; prior hotel or Spa experience will be an asset;
A minimum of a Diploma in Hospitality or related field;
Excellent proficiency in the use of MS Office applications;
Refined verbal and written communication skills;
The ability to provide a consistently high level of customer service.
Strong retail skills and drive to achieve set retail targets
A good understanding of beauty treatments
Ability to work all shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Customer service and hospitality training will be considered an asset.
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment;
