Job Purpose
To lead the integration, delivery, and optimization of Digital and Operational Technology (OT) solutions, enabling secure, reliable, and data-driven operations across the organization. The role is responsible for aligning IT and OT capabilities with business objectives to enhance production performance, operational efficiency, and cost optimization. The IT Manager will drive the adoption of digital technologies, including SCADA, IoT, automation, and analytics, while ensuring system resilience, cybersecurity, and effective data governance. The position acts as a critical bridge between IT and operational teams, translating business needs into scalable technology solutions that support sustainable operational excellence and digital transformation.
Key Accountabilities
Translates ICT strategy into actionable digital and operational technology initiatives aligned with business and production objectives.
Designs and implements integrated IT/OT architectures ensuring seamless connectivity between field systems and enterprise platforms.
Owns the performance, availability, and lifecycle management of SCADA, telemetry, and operational systems.
Identifies and implements AI, automation, and advanced analytics solutions to optimize operations and improve efficiency.
Establishes data governance and analytics capabilities to support real-time insights and informed decision-making.
Implements and maintains cybersecurity controls for operational environments, ensuring protection of critical infrastructure.
Oversees vendor relationships, contracts, and service delivery to ensure value, performance, and innovation.
Leads end-to-end delivery of digital and OT initiatives, ensuring timelines, budgets, and benefits realization are achieved.
Defines and monitors KPIs linked to uptime, production optimization, cost savings, and operational efficiency.
Builds and manages a high-performing team with skills in OT systems, analytics, and emerging technologies.
Plans and controls budgets, ensuring cost optimization and alignment of investments with business value.
Establishes and enforces policies, standards, and regulatory compliance across digital and operational technology environments.

Job Specifications
Minimum Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Business
Minimum Experience

A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in Information Technology, preferably in the oil and gas industry
A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a managerial role
