Job Description
This role supports the design, execution, and analysis of survey-based research and monitoring activities. It involves assisting in the development of survey tools and M&E frameworks, collecting and processing data, and compiling statistical outputs. The position also contributes to cross-departmental data initiatives and maintains databases to support evidence-based reporting and decision-making.
Key and Critical Responsibilities
Undertakes survey research.
Assists with the development of the survey instruments.
Assists with data collection.
Undertakes verification, coding and entry of survey questionnaires.
Creates statistical databases.
Assists in generating statistical tables for report.
Compiles STI indicators from secondary sources.
Assists with the conducting M&E activities.
Performs other related duties as required.

Key Competencies
Knowledge on basic statistical techniques
Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Word and Excel
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Strong mathematical and statistical skills
Accuracy and attention to detail
Experience using statistical programmes such as SPSS will be an asset
Ability to work in teams
