VACANCY NOTICE
We are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified person to fill the position of:
OTP ANALYST- POS (Grade 5)
(CONTRACT POSITION)
JOB SUMMARY
The OTP Analyst will report to the Senior Manager, Systems Operations Control. The selected candidate will be responsible for compiling and producing operational data reports that will be used to assess and reduce risk to the operations. He/she will analyse all disruptions with a focus on ensuring accurate assignment of delays while coordinating preventative measures to preserve our On Time Performance. The incumbent will act as the point of contact on all operational data queries/follow-up and coordinate systems automation within Airports and SOC. Appointment to this position will be offered on a fixed-term contractual basis.
KEY DELIVERABLES:
· Daily verification of Operations Scoreboard data for 100% accuracy. This scoreboard is to be used by Executive Management and all other related Managers.
· Coordinate daily submission(s) of the minutes/summary of Operations and other related meetings.
· Develop metrics and manage the production of all required reports for Board, Executive Management, Flight Operations, SOC and other stakeholders.
· Ensure safety and compliance monitoring of Airports and SOC actions.
· Coordinate follow-up on all disruptions to enable OTP and Customer Experience improvement.
· Coordinate Turn time methodology, data collection and reporting.
· Performs such other duties outside the normal scope of responsibilities that may be required to maximize efficiency, productivity, teamwork, customer relations and enhance the entire operations of the company.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
You will have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science or other related field and possess training in Computing/Operations and/or Network Management. You must have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in an Operations Department preferably in the airline industry and have working knowledge of Information Systems related to Operations systems.
You must be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong analytical abilities and well-developed problem solving skills are essential requirements of the role. You will have a strong customer orientation while focusing on profitability and productivity. You will be actively interested in the day-to-day activities in the aviation industry with a keen interest to learn. Project Management skills, training and experience in compiling and customizing reports from large volumes of data will be considered an asset.
