Heritage Petroleum Company Limited (Heritage) is state-owned company in the business of exploration, development and production of crude oil. We are inviting talented, innovative, passionate and suitably qualified persons to apply for the following roles.

Job Purpose
To deliver the Strategic Human Resources Deliverables relating to Organizational Culture, Employee Engagement and Employee Experience.  In consultation with the Human Resources Leader, and other Human Resources Managers, the incumbent will be required to effect all key human resources decisions relating to building and maintaining a productive work environment. This role will partner with Corporate Communications, HSE and other departments and stakeholders on the creation and maintenance of the desired culture of the organization.
Key Accountabilities
Works with the Human Resources Leader to develop and implement enterprise-wide culture strategies that drive the delivery of the Company’s strategy.
Effectively works with the Leadership Team to embed the desired culture and work environment of the organization.
Works with the Corporate Communications to develop a strategy and supporting initiatives for employee engagement, including the annual engagement and pulse surveys.
Develops the supporting plan encompassing full implementation, stakeholder plans and management, communication initiatives and leader/team capability development.
Analyses engagement and pulse survey results, supports Business Unit Leaders in developing action plans and tracks the closure of agreed actions.
Monitors and evaluates engagement initiatives to maintain a productive work environment.
Designs and administers employee recognition, wellness and employee experience programs that reinforce the desired culture.
Partners with the HSE Department to align culture and engagement initiatives with the Company’s safety culture objectives.
Works with the Human Resources Leader and Human Resources Managers to integrate the Company’s values and behaviours into people processes including onboarding, performance management and leadership development.
Partners with the Human Resources Manager Compensation and Benefits to ensure that reward and recognition programs support the organization’s culture and employee engagement objectives.
Liaises with clients and departments, acting as a leading practitioner in managing requests related to organizational culture, employee engagement and employee experience.
Develops strategic goals, objectives and key performance indicators for People and Culture and utilizes the Performance Management System to measure, manage, and motivate performance.
Develops and implements staffing strategy and effectively leads a team of professionals by developing talent and cultivating a high-performance culture.
Supports the development of departmental budgets and monitors and controls utilization

Job Specifications
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Industrial/ Organizational Psychology or a related discipline.
Master’s degree or other post Graduate qualifications or HR certifications such as SPHR or SHRM-SCP will be an asset
Minimum Experience

A minimum of ten (10) years’ related job experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry
A minimum of five (5) years in a managerial role
