Job Purpose
To support the Business Units and Departments with the day-to-day execution, implementation and embedding of HR initiatives, plans and projects that support the BU business strategy. The role also ensures the integrity of data and gives support with the analysis and reporting of same.
Key Accountabilities
Supports the recruitment process for respective business units and Departments.
Supports the administration of HR processes within the business.
Updates and maintains the HR Information System data and provides accurate and timely reports.
Contributes to the continuous improvement of HR systems and practices.
Builds effective working relationships with staff at all levels, providing advice and guidance on a range of HR policies and HR related issues to support understanding and ensure effective communication of good HR practice.
Monitors absenteeism trends and remedial action in accordance with the Company’s policy.
Compiles HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including the human resource information system (HRIS) and payroll outputs, management and employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, government labor statistics, competitors’ practices, and other sources.
Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Prepares reports of data results, presenting and explaining findings to senior leadership.
Conducts specialized HR/ER research and data/trend analysis as requested and provides reports and recommendations for improved efficiency, compliance and delivery of HR/ER services and solutions.
Supports the HR manager with various capability investigations, including grievance and disciplinary.
Undertakes projects and any other assignments required from time to time, to fulfil the job purpose.

Job Specifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, Employee Relations, HR or related disciplines.
Minimum Experience
A minimum of five (5) years’ experience demonstrating increased responsibility in human resource practices.
A minimum of two (2) years in the oil and gas industry will be an asset.
