Heritage Petroleum Company Limited (Heritage) is state-owned company in the business of exploration, development and production of crude oil. We are inviting talented, innovative, passionate and suitably qualified persons to apply for the following roles.

Job Purpose
To lead the economic evaluations for all decisions related to business development activities within the Business Development Unit and to actively support strategic decision making, business opportunity assessment and deal development and negotiations.
Key Accountabilities
Designs, develops and creates financial and economic models and tools.
Maintains comprehensive and complex economic and risk models, and efficiently use them for analysis to support decisions related to value optimization of Heritage’s assets.
Analyses the business cases of the investment opportunities by performing strategic, economics, market, and risk assessments.
Evaluates projects individually and prioritizes alternatives and trade-offs as part of the portfolio of opportunities.
Provides expert advice and guidance, by way of thorough analysis, on Heritage’s investment opportunities and on the appropriateness of the overall capital investment program and CVP.
Provides expert judgment on queries from management involving the economic and business issues of investments proposals and existing businesses.
Performs valuation analyses for M&A and divestitures opportunities, economic and financial modelling of potential JV opportunities.
Conducts post investment review of downstream, upstream, and LNG projects to utilize lessons learned from project evaluations in future investment decisions.
Undertakes any other assignments required from time to time, to fulfil the job purpose.

Job Specifications
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Management, Economics or Engineering.
Master’s Degree in Business Administration will be an asset.
Minimum Experience

A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Oil & Gas industry within reputed NOCs / IOCs of directly in economic evaluations, with at least three (3) years in the oil and gas industry
Job Specific Skills

Ability to design and build complex economic models for Upstream E&P, Downstream, and LNG assets or projects in a wide variety of fiscal regimes.
Energy and ability to work within and across teams, to facilitate effective decision‐making.
Ability to develop and interpret data in highly technical and confidential analysis.
