Key Responsibilities
Comply with opening and closing procedures checklists.
Perform inventory counts on ingredients and finished goods as needed.
Prepare vegetables, meats and other menu items in high volume. Follow standardized recipes, portions and presentation guidelines.
Organize and prep ingredients; rotate products using FIFO and report any product or equipment issues.
Check and adjust equipment settings (grills, ovens, fryers, etc.) according to recipe requirements.
Assemble packaged meals to correct weights and variety per company specifications.
Label, date, rotate and properly store all food products using company standards.
Maintain a clean and sanitized workstation and follow food safety, sanitation and occupational health and safety standards at all times.
Operate all equipment correctly and report any broken or malfunctioning equipment to the Supervisor.
Check in with the Supervisor for prep assignments during slow periods.
Perform any other duties as assigned to support smooth kitchen operations.
You’ll Do
Prepare and cook menu items to standard
Work efficiently in a high-volume production kitchen
Follow recipes and portion controls
Practice safe food handling at all times
Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station
Assist with mise en place and station set-up
Receive, store and rotate ingredients properly
Support the kitchen team during service
You Have
Culinary experience in a high-volume production kitchen for 2 years
Very good customer service skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Flexible availability including evenings, weekends & public holidays
Valid Food Badge
Three CXC General Level Passes
Supermarket and Restaurant Production Kitchen experience
