JOB TITLE: Estate Constable
EMPLOYER: Airports Authority of Trinidad and Tobago
LOCATION: ANR Robinson International Airport, Tobago

Job Summary

Provides a safe and secure environment for the travelling public and all other users whilst upholding the security of our airports to the highest international standards. Performs duties involving the protection of the Authority’s property against diverse threats including fire, malicious damage and theft as well as assisting generally in maintaining law and order.

Minimum Requirements

1. At least five (5) CXC O’ Level Subjects inclusive of English Language (all applicants must produce original certificates).
2. Weight consistent with height.
3. Physically and Mentally fit.
4. Age between 18 to 35 years.
5. Must be a resident of Trinidad and Tobago for the past five (5) years.
6. Be in possession of:
• Police Certificate of Good Character
• Three (3) Written Character references (less than 6 weeks old)
• Valid Trinidad and Tobago ID / Driver’s Permit and / or Birth Certificate
7. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
8. Experience in the security field will be considered an asset.
9. Possession of a valid driver’s license, a valid precept and a FUEC will be considered assets.

Additional Conditions

• Selected applicants will be required to successfully complete a training programme, obtain a precept and perform shift work as required.
• All successful applicants will be required to undergo a medical exam, background check and integrity assessment.
