Heritage Petroleum Company Limited (Heritage) is state-owned company in the business of exploration, development and production of crude oil. We are inviting talented, innovative, passionate and suitably qualified persons to apply for the following roles.
Job Purpose
To identify, develop, and implement digital innovation initiatives that enhance business performance, operational efficiency, and decision-making through the application of emerging technologies, automation, data analytics, and digital platforms. The role supports the organisation’s digital transformation agenda by working closely with business units and IT teams to evaluate opportunities, design solutions, and deliver technology-enabled process improvements aligned with enterprise architecture and governance standards
Key Accountabilities
Identifies opportunities to improve business processes, operational efficiency, and decision-making through the application of digital technologies, automation, and innovative solutions.
Designs, develops, and implements digital solutions using enterprise platforms, cloud services, low-code/no-code tools, automation technologies, and analytics platforms in alignment with enterprise architecture and governance standards.
Collaborates with business stakeholders to understand operational challenges and translates business requirements into technology-enabled digital solutions.
Supports the development and implementation of digital innovation initiatives, including automation, artificial intelligence, analytics, IoT, and workflow optimisation solutions.
Evaluates emerging technologies, platforms, and tools, and makes recommendations to support continuous improvement, innovation, and digital transformation objectives.
Develops proof-of-concept solutions and pilots to demonstrate the value and feasibility of new digital technologies and process improvements.
Supports the integration of digital solutions with enterprise applications, operational systems, and data platforms to ensure seamless interoperability and data consistency.
Ensures digital solutions comply with enterprise architecture standards, cybersecurity policies, and data governance requirements.
Collaborates with infrastructure, applications, data, and cybersecurity teams to ensure digital solutions are secure, scalable, and sustainable.
Provides technical support and guidance during the implementation, deployment, and operationalisation of digital solutions.
Develops and maintains documentation, standards, and best practices for digital innovation initiatives and solutions.
Supports change management and user adoption efforts by providing training, guidance, and technical assistance to business users

Job Specifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or Business Administration
Minimum Experience
A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in AI and Digital Transformation with a minimum of one (1) year in the oil and gas industry
