Job Purpose
To support the development and execution of the Company’s strategic direction by conducting strategic analysis, monitoring business performance and emerging issues, and providing insights and recommendations to support sustainable growth, profitability and productivity.
Key Accountabilities
Supports the development, implementation and periodic review of strategic plans and initiatives through research, analysis and preparation of supporting information.
Supports the business planning cycle by coordinating inputs from Business Units, analyzing plans, financial forecasts and resource requirements, and assisting with consolidation and review.
Conducts strategic and performance analyses to identify trends, gaps, risks and opportunities and provides insights to support business performance improvement.
Monitors Business Unit performance against approved strategic and annual targets and prepares analysis of variances, trends and key performance drivers.
Conducts financial, economic and scenario analyses to assess business opportunities, investment options, risks and potential impacts on value creation.
Supports the development and evaluation of business cases by conducting financial, economic and sensitivity analyses and preparing supporting documentation.
Conducts market, industry and competitive research and analysis to identify emerging trends, business risks, growth opportunities and implications for the Company’s strategy.
Supports E&P portfolio analysis and capital prioritisation through analysis of asset performance, economic returns, strategic alignment and resource requirements.
Coordinates with Business Units and key stakeholders to collect, validate and consolidate business plans, forecasts and performance submissions.
Supports the development and maintenance of strategic planning frameworks, templates, models and analytical tools to facilitate effective business planning.
Prepares strategic analysis, reports and supporting materials for Executive Management and Board strategy reviews and decision-making.
Supports the preparation of management and executive reports and presentations, ensuring accurate and clear communication of performance, outlook, risks, opportunities and recommended actions.
Conducts analysis to identify strategic, financial and operational risks that may impact the achievement of corporate objectives and supports the development of appropriate mitigation strategies.

Job Specifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
Minimum Experience:
A minimum of five (5) years’ relevant working experience with a minimum of three (3) years in the oil and gas industry
